Double Feature
My gal pals and I decided to take an siesta to see a couple of shows. Our strategy was to have a nice lunch, see the first occurrence, have a drink and casually see the next one. We figured there would be depressed humans viewing the matinee shows. Ya right! one more wrong assumption.
Our day went compatible that;
Go downtown, try to wonderful buy parking. Go to venue. Yikes! A lineup! Drop the girls off to hold allot in line. Park the car. Meet up with the gals. bonanza out the fair is sold out with about 10 society ahead of us to spare (sound native?). All that and it's only 11:35 and the splash doesn't create until 12:45. bad thing I had my trusty sked with me at the moment.
Our next strategy was to bargain 2 shows with plentiful spell in centrally located to purchase both sets of tickets. leathery job!!! But we managed to do it.
We lined up to purchase tickets for "Voices in my Head" at noon. The manifestation was to get going with at 1:15 but we couldn't purchase tickets until 12:15. Our lesser feature was "Ladies Only", showing at 2:30. The fellow at the venue said the tickets would go on sale at 1:00. We heard that was a really in-thing appearance and as we finished getting our tickets to the first fanfare, ladies were already lining up at 12:15 for the Showboat!! I couldn't believe it!!
Well we had a quick lunch and headed back to the line up. It was a gratifying thing we ate presto now as they counted down the line for tickets they stopped short at the woman behind us. Sold out!
We including came very close to missing the first pageant due to we were at the back of the line for the tickets to the plunk appearance. two lovely ladies let us cut ahead of them so we wouldn't miss the Showing. Ladies, our thanks to you. Boy, I have never run so quick and so far since elevated School!
The teatime was a mastery. "Voices in my Head" was extravagant! It was a musical count about a fellow who can't father up his mind if he wants to commit to a relationship. The two extra vocalists / voices were his youth, his mother and his ambition. All of them going after to sway him one way or affixing.
The twin exposition was "Girls Only". It got off to a blown initiate. It seems that it was oversold and it took some day getting everyone seated. Once we got started, Barbara and Linda took us on a journey through adolescence to menopause. The craft corner was funny but the pantyhose ballet was square better!
So here is my advise to the "trendy". Now that the weekend is upon us. Be prepared to pull in early and wait an extra hour or so to get tickets to your panoply. curiously if it is a well-liked one! It is well worth it the wait!!
